Went looking for a website to try to get a spar for my kite. Got the
dreaded "not found" error. Are they out of business?or was the site just
down.

If they are down and out does anyone have recommendations for me to find
a spar?

TIA,

Information underload.

You did not mention the URL on which you got the error.

Google doesn't come up with anything on 'Caribbean Kite parts':

It could help if you told us where you are and what sort of spar you're
looking for.

Try kitebuilder.com which is the real address of Kite Studio. He has
the part that you need. However, you may need to give him a call to
describe the part. IIRC the Caribbean kite uses fiberglass rods. What
ever, Steve can fix you up with a rod, and get you back in the air.

I do not know the phone number, but you can find that at the web site.
