I'm off down to Taunton in a few weeks time with some spare time to do
a bit of kite buggying. Can anyone recommend any good beaches nearby
that are kite friendly? Also, does anyone know of any companies doing
lessons nearby?

Many thanks

We’re judging how a candidate will handle a nuclear
crisis by how well his staff creates campaign ads.
It’s a completely nonsensical process.

Hiay,
There's not much that's very close but if you head about forty minutes
north you'll find Brean and Berrow, near Weston-Super-Mare
http://www.forces-of-nature.co.uk/dbdriven/beachguide/beachguide.php?action=display_location&loc_id=178

or if you head way out west (about an hour) you'll find my favourite
buggying beach at Westward Ho!
http://www.forces-of-nature.co.uk/dbdriven/beachguide/beachguide.php?action=display_location&loc_id=169

Be aware there are restrictions on powerkites at Westward at certain
times of the year.

Hope that helps,
Mike E.

Hi Mate,
Brean and Berrow have banned kitebuggying.. Only place left in Somerset
is Weston super Mare and there you have to be a member of at least one
of the organisations, have insurance and have the right coloured tag and
stay in the Uphill ghetto...
