I ordered my kites, they'll be here thursday. I went with the prism D3
and the E2. The video was awesome, thanks for posting it. I'll never get
that good with a kite, but I sure plan on having fun anyway.

hehe you're a noobie? jeeze, I spent as much time rubbing my poor sunburnt
head with aloe vera as I did flying my kite! LOL, thats noobie. I knew I
was gonna be sorry, but I was having too much fun to care. Gonna get me
some sunscreen before my kite gets here.

$5 straw hats, lots of styles to pick from, can't beat 'em for
covering up the bean. I don't go anywhere without one!!

So you're on the mighty Columbia, good wind there, very cool.

There's a big festival near you at Long Beach, WA August 20-26.
Washington State International Kite Festival, or WSKIF, probably largest
in the U.S.

I'm a rank nooobie kiter an have both the Techno and E2 which is why I
asked where in OR you are.

I say for a noob (like me) Techno for a standard. I have the HQ
Floater for a low wind kite and REALLY like it. You can have both for
a lot less than the cost of the E2.

The Sweety rocks in no/low wind. But it's much more delicate than the
Floater!!

I have the original Babytana and Hot Pepper. Those are 2 great little
indoor kites.

Someday you might want to try buying a regular kite that you like and
reframing it with a much lighter frame. I reframed an Aerie K3 in
G-Force Skinnies and it flies in no wind.
