"Sadly my dear friend David Davies Designer of The Sky Dancer four line
kite passed away yesterday evening after losing a mercifully short
battle against cancer, his wife Sue told me tonight that he went
peacfully without pain at the end,i will miss him terribly as will many
of the club members who knew him and the wider kiting community keep on
danceing David."

As someone who owns, flies and loves a Skydancer, and having met David on
several occasions, it is with great sadness that I read this post. He was a
true gentleman, letting anyone have a blast with a kite, no matter what sort
of a mess they (I) made with it.

Haven't been on rec.kites for ages so to see this on my first revisit is
quite moving.

Rest in Peace David
