If you are talking about the Airy-yo it is a cool circle kite that you
sling back and forth through the air like a yo-yo, Great to play
around with when the wind isn't strong enough to fly a regular kite.

A "yo-yo" in kite parlance is either a large plastic ring
to wind kite strings onto or a freestyle trick where you
wind the kite up in its own strings.

The trick is the thing I'm wondering about. So the kite wraps in the
lines towards and/or away and you unwrap and back and forth for a
yo-yo effect?

So yo-yo stops are attached to the LE to hold te line into a
particular position?

Thanks!!

Yep. The stoppers hold the lines in a place where you
can still fly the kite.

This video starts off with a bunch of yoyos:

When the kite first flies upwards, turns down, he's flying
with the lines hooked over the stoppers.

Thanks, appreciate it. Been surfing the net and found a couple of
places with a kiters dictionary and found others with videos.
