The reason this discussion group is dying, is because there are so many
other kite related discussion forums now days. Many kite builders
frequent the "kite builders forum", sport kite fliers use "GWTW (GONE
WITH THE WIND)" forum, or "Fractured Axel" forum. And there are dozens
of other kite related forums or groups that kite clubs or organizations
are using at yahoo.com. The American Kitefliers Association has a forum
too http://www.aka.kite.org

Do a google search and you'll find them.

There is no single place to go any more. I subscribe to most of them,
Fractured Axel, Kite Builder, AKA

I don't subscribe to GWTW, because they have a subscribers-only
policy,
you can't read the thing without subscribing. So you can't reference
their stuff from elsewhere. I fully expect subscriber's only posting
but
subscribers-only reading is just plain anti-social.

So my own stuff generally ends up on my own site:

i read all of the aforementioned kite forums/message boards etc....
there is still a huge wealth of information out there available....you
just need to specify what genre it belongs to then head to that
forum....mildly annoying....but it does work....

rob or corgimas or thief on those forums


btw: Hannan is your XO have a green faceplate around the screen? or is
that just a light? my xo is standard-but i like the excess green!!!
