Frank Kenisky would actually fly fairly well... better than some and
not
as well as others... and if he would be kind enough to send me an
autographed, high resolution picture of himself in the upright
position,
I will demonstrate this fact... provided he isn't doing something too
outrageously Nasty.
I have heard this comment too many times... that "anything" will fly
if
you attach 4 lines to it. When I first started making and flying
quad-line kites, the comment pissed me off. Eventually, I just
laughed
when I heard it, and I've been laughing ever since (although it
really
isn't that funny). IMHO, the comment is an attempt at undermining the
talents of the quad-line kiteflier as well as the quad-line kitemaker.
AAMOF, although many shapes can be successfully quad-lined, there is
a
"formula" to designing them to fly well, instead of just being able
to
"get them into the air".
